During one of Dr. Deore’s regular visits to Niphad, he met 65-year-old Karbhari Sanap, who complained of upper abdominal pain and acidity. Sanap also showed signs of obesity, flatulence, and other symptoms that raised concerns about the presence of gallstones. Dr. Deore recommended a sonography, which revealed a significant number of pigment gallbladder stones. In an extraordinary procedure, Dr. Sachin Deore successfully removed a total of 2,245 stones from Mr. Sanap’s gallbladder using laparoscopic surgery.
